Privacy Policy

1. Images and converted files

The conversion tool reads the files you select and processes them on your device. The previews and converted outputs are held in your browser session using temporary object URLs. They are not intentionally sent to a saxImageConvertert server. You can remove selected images or close the page to end the session.

When you choose to download a converted image, the file is saved through your browser's normal download process. If you later upload or share that file through another service, that service's policies apply.

2. Personal information

This starter project does not include accounts, a conversion backend, or a form that asks for your name, email address, or other personal details. Do not include sensitive information in filenames if you prefer not to have those names visible on your own screen or in browser download history.

3. Hosting, logs, and third-party resources

If this website is hosted publicly, the hosting provider may process standard technical data such as IP address, request time, browser details, and security logs. The page stylesheet currently loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may cause your browser to connect to Google's servers to retrieve font resources. The audio and video conversion pages also download the FFmpeg WebAssembly software from jsDelivr when you start a conversion. Your selected media files are processed locally and are not sent to that CDN. These providers operate under their own privacy policies.

For a stricter no-third-party-request setup, self-host the fonts and media engine, or remove the external resources, and review the logging and analytics settings of your hosting provider. No analytics script is included in this starter project.

4. Cookies and local storage

The current project does not intentionally set cookies or store your images in local storage. Your browser may maintain ordinary technical records, cached resources, or download history according to its own settings.

5. Security and limitations

Local processing reduces the need to transmit your images to a conversion server, but no website or device can promise absolute security. Keep your browser and device updated, and use a trusted device for confidential files. Some browser features, extensions, or future code changes could affect how data is handled, so review the deployed version before relying on it for highly sensitive material.

6. Children and changes

This tool is a general-purpose utility and is not specifically directed at children. We may update this policy as the project changes. The policy published on this page should be reviewed whenever hosting, analytics, advertising, or server-side features are added.

7. Contact

This starter template does not currently define a support email address. Before publishing for public use, add a real contact method here if you want users to be able to ask privacy-related questions.
